Bernedoodle Colors & Coat Types

At Puget Sound Doodles, we offer a variety of beautiful Bernedoodle puppies in different colors and coat types, each with their own unique charm. Bernedoodles come in several stunning color variations including tri color, merle, phantom, sable, and red apricot, among others. Each Bernedoodle's coat is unique, and can range from wavy to curly, with soft, hypoallergenic, low-shedding coats. 
Tri Color Bernedoodles 
Tri color Bernedoodles are the most popular, with a traditional black, white, and rust-colored coat. They have a distinct pattern of markings similar to the Bernese Mountain Dog. 
Sable
​Bernedoodles
Sable Bernedoodles have a unique coat whre individual hairs have multiple color bands, tpically with a lighter base and darker tips. This results in a sun kissed appearance that created dimension. 
Merle
​Bernedoodles
Merle Bernedoodles have a beautiful mosaic mix of black, gray, and white fur. Each is unique with irregular markings and splotches of dark pigment. They can vary significantly and no two are allike. 
Apricot Bernedoodles
Apricot Bernedoodles feature a warm honey toned coat. The color is  beween yellow and orange and is often described as a rich, dark gold. While some are solid apricot, they frequently appear as apricot and white.
Phantom Bernedoodles
Phantom Bernedoodles have a striking coat, with distinct rust colored marking giving them a n oble eye-catching appearance that is similar to the tri color. 
Parti Tri Color

Parti Tri Color Bernedoodles feature a predominantly white coat with large, irregular patches of black and rust. While a traditional Tri Color follows a specific pattern, a parti tri-color breaks that pattern with  more payful and patchy patterns. 

Understanding Bernedoodle Coat Types

Bernedoodles can have one of three coat types, wavy, curly, or straight. Their coats are hypoallergenic and low-shedding, with wavy, and curly coats being the most popular. All of our Bernedoodle puppies are hypoallergenic and furnished.
