Kathy Lemelson Owner Kathy is the proud mother of seven children, 21 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren! An accountant by profession, Kathy’s true passion lies with animals. She raised her family on a 40-acre ranch, where horses, cows, chickens, sheep, and goats were part of everyday life. Kathy’s love for animals has been passed down to her children, who now work alongside her in farming and animal care in Skagit County. Over the years, Kathy has bred Labradors, Shih Tzus, and Bernedoodles, sharing her knowledge and dedication to raising happy, healthy dogs. |
Alexandra Lemelson M. Ed. Co-Owner Alexandra is a former classroom teacher and doctoral candidate in special education with a deep passion for working with individuals with disabilities. She left the field of special education to join her family in farming and raising animals, where she also supports placing service animals with people who benefit from their companionship and assistance. Currently attending seminary and pursuing a second master’s degree in theological studies, Alexandra has a strong commitment to public service and improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. She continues to champion diverse learners and education, having founded tuition-free foreign language and Sunday School programs in btoh Capitol Hill and Bellingham. |
Mathew Lemelson Resident Dog Trainer/Groomer Social Media Manager & Awesome Kid Mathew is our resident Instagrammer, YouTuber, grooming assistant, and puppy exercise coordinator! Now 14 and a freshman in college, Mathew is a responsible and dedicated young man who helps with daily farm chores. He specializes in caring for dogs as well as raising chickens, pigs, and goats. Mathew also founded a company called Got Any Grapes—and no, he doesn’t sell grapes! Instead, he sells eggs, fruit, and meat. In addition to his farm work, Mathew actively volunteers in his community, showing a strong commitment to helping others. Needless to say, he has a great sense of humor too! |
